Petition to the Government of Canada
- The Alto high-speed rail project is estimated to cost approximately between $60 billion and $90 billion, or up to roughly $9,000 per Canadian family of four;
- The actual construction and emissions costs to build Alto are presently unknown, and will not be known until after disruptive and costly steps have occurred, including expropriation of property along the route;
- History suggests high-speed rail projects in general, and similar major infrastructure projects in Canada and analogous jurisdictions in particular, have typically cost substantially more than planned, taking much longer to complete than anticipated;
- Alto’s public business case is based on best-case annual cost and ridership revenue projections, exposing Canadian taxpayers to large financial risks;
- The annual interest payments to finance Alto’s construction are likely to equal or exceed Alto’s annual revenues, even under its own best-case projections;
- Alto is likely to require large, annual government operational subsidies for decades;
- Alto will not be in full operation until 2037 at the earliest;
- Many municipalities through which Alto will pass, without stopping or benefitting them, have expressed opposition to the project;
- Alto will serve an already well-serviced transportation corridor and provide little to no benefit to Canadians outside that corridor, or to those who do not use it; and
- Canadians will be better served by the government making smarter, less costly, less disruptive, and more limited investments to improve existing services and infrastructure.

- There are currently no election laws at the federal level of Canadian government that enable legally registered Canadian voters to fire an elected representative before the end of their term;
- There are currently no election laws at the federal level of Canadian government that enable legally registered Canadian voters to repeal or remove legislation that is proven biased, bigoted, prejudiced, oppressive, authoritarian, or treasonous; and
- Within this legislation must be a law that, politicians who are recalled, would no longer be entitled to their pension or any other benefits associated with their elected position. A sitting government cannot amend or remove the recall/initiative legislation without a public referendum.

Bail Reform
“Conservative Shadow Minister for Justice and Attorney General, Larry Brock (Member of Parliament for Brantford-Brant South-Six Nations) has launched a petition that seeks to put a stop to the revolving door of a bail system and to end the catch-and-release policies that have ravaged our communities nationwide. Our party has the solutions to solve this crisis. Our goals are to;
1. Amend Canada’s Criminal Code to make bail more restrictive for repeat violent offenders, particularly those charged with firearms offences, intimate partner violence, and serious violent crimes;
2. Repeal Bill C-5 which eliminated mandatory minimum sentences for serious violent crimes;
3. Repeal the so-called principle of restraint enacted by Bill C-75 which requires judges to release accused offenders “at the earliest possible opportunity” under the “least onerous conditions”;
4. Support law enforcement and victims’ rights advocates by ensuring the justice system puts public safety first and provides real consequences for violent repeat offenders;
5. Work with provinces, territories, and Indigenous communities to ensure consistent and effective bail policies that protect all Canadians regardless of jurisdiction.”
