Ottawa, ON–: Local MP Jamie Schmale announced today that 14 organizations in Haliburton-Kawartha Lakes-Brock will receive $256,753 in funding as part of the New Horizons for Seniors Program (NHSP), which ensures that seniors can benefit from an improved quality of life in their community and also contribute to it through participation in social activities and active living.
